tough days ahead

It's almost been two years. At times that seems unbelievable and then in the next moment it feels like this has been our reality for years and years. B and I were talking the other night about everything. It's been a really rough week for me and I know I've got several more coming. I think we both really thought this year would be easier because we had convinced ourselves that by the two year mark we would definitely have had another baby.
Of course, we live in no type of fantasy world where we think having another baby will fix or heal any of the hurt that we feel from losing Nate. Babies don't fix people. Babies don't heal people. I feel like our family will be able to move forward once we have another child, but we will never be complete here....ever.

Today more than ever - I am so thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. I know that death is not forever. He has made a way for us to have our family complete again. I am so thankful that the story didn't end with him on the cross! This is the hope I'm clinging to today...
